Cool Friend (Owners: Steve Everson, Christine Erlam, Philip Harner and Miles Seston)
A 122 rated chaser, very consistent.
Aintree was always going to be her objective last year and she lived upto our expectations to finish second.
This year everything is being geared around a return visit to Aintree. We started off in a Hunter Chase at Ludlow, achieving fifth place on unsuitable ground but the run will have done her good and she came out of the race fine.
We took her for a racecourse gallop last weekend and she seems to be in good form.We are really looking forward to another trip to Aintree.
Oscar du Berlais (Owners : Gary Dewhurst and Lord Daresbury)
Has Shown us a lot of promise, schooling well and has a fantastic attitude.
We didn't race him last year, giving him time to mature and he has summered very well.
He was 4th on his racecourse debut at Bangor on 9th March before unseating ,after being badly hampered, when we returned there at the end of the month.
He then ran a very promising fourth at Tabley the day after The Grand National.
We're very excited about him for the future.
Sparkle Star (Owner: Stuart Parkin)
In the frame on two occasions last season and looks to have come on really well from a summer in the field.
He made his seasonal debut at Thorpe Lodge in Mid Feb and was just beaten in a photo finish.
His much deserved maiden win then came at Bangor on Sunday 9th March when he was part of a treble for the stable.
He ran in The Restricted at Bangor at the end of March when he was pulled up.
We will work towards him running next over the Easter period.
Come on Louis (Owner: Andrew Ralphs and Stephen Creer)
Seamill x Grape Tree Road
Very honest and good natured and was looking like one of the more forward young ones at the start of last year. However,we had a minor setback with him so he didn't race during the 2012/13 season.
Has come on really well and was a very encouraging 5th on his racecourse debut at Bangor on 9th March.
We will now look for a race for him around Easter time.
Arthur's Gentleman (Owner: Oliver Greenall)
Ran several times last year, reaching the frame on one occasion.
Has developed mentally over the summer and is an exciting prospect.
He has worked really well at home and he made his racecourse debut at Brocklesbury where he was brought down by another horse.
He then ran at Garthorpe on 2nd March and we will be looking for an improved run when we look to run him over the Easter period,
