A busy festive period for the Yard on and off the track.

A busy festive period for the Yard on and off the track.

First of all I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you have enjoyed your time with friends and family.

We have been kept busy here at Stockton Hall with two runners at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day, Los Cerritos finishing down the field on his debut for the yard in the 1 mile 1 1/2 furlong handicap. He was followed by Rock Warbler who headed back to Wolverhampton for the first time since finishing a unlucky 2nd at the track in September, he was unlucky again on this occasion having had to make up his ground up on the home bend in a slowly run race. We will now look for a race for him back at Newcastle where he is 2 from 2, I still feel like he can win from his mark in the near future.

On Tuesday Quids In made his hurdling/stable debut at Wetherby in a competitive Juvenile hurdle, he has worked and schooled nicely at home and showed a lot of promise finishing a close 4th after leading 2 out. We feel he would of learnt a lot from this experience and should give his owners a lot of fun for the rest of the season.

On Friday Los Cerritos makes a quick reapperance at Newcastle before Jaunty Thor heads to Catterick on New Years Day.
