Follow the link below that explains more about the club, but the key points are:
The Club has leased a 4 year old gelding by Lilbourne Lad out of Dos Lunas. He came over from Ireland last week. I am really happy with him, he has a great attitude and is very straightforward. He jumped extremely well straight away, having never seen the hurdles at Stockton Hall before and went up the gallops extremely professionally without a lead and his first time on them.
The owner of the gelding is Patrick Fennessy and he has sent horses to me before with success. This 4yr old gelding has been in training for 6 months and has showed plenty of ability. He was due to run at the end of the jump season when the ground became too firm. We are lucky to secure him as he has been through the mill and he knows his job so will be ready to crack on with. The plan will be for him to go out in the field now until mid July and then begin training to run in October. He will start in a bumper and then in novice hurdles. We would hope he would run at least 6 times.
