All the youngsters are going really well and are a lot more forward than last years. They are all cantering up the gallop, loose schooling and jumping over the tyres. We have also been taking the youngsters for hacks on the roads and Jake rode out this morning so we took them into the woods which was really good for them and I think is a very important part of the process. I have got three French horses which are very sharp to ride but athletic and seem to have an engine and are very willing. I have got a four year old filly by Shantou who is very calm and easy to ride, a 3 year old Grape Tree Road who is cheeky but moves like a dream and a 3 year old Prestenting who is sharp but very athletic and is the most natural jumper in the bunch.
